A Nashville Weekend

Just back from a whirlwind "weekend" for an anniversary trip.
Husband had never been.
We checked out
Broadway Honkeytonks
Five Points
12 South
the Gulch
& Hillsboro..we went into a few shops..saw the pancake pantry.
Had coffee & yummy carrot, ginger, coconut soup
@Fido Busy Busy coffee shop.

We ended the night at the Patterson House. Loved it BUT totally sakemom star stalked this poor girl from the show Nashville. She was there having drinks with her parents. I apologize for my drunk rantings..and eating your olives. This Atlantian is a lightweight when it comes to the partying that's going on in Nashville. But hey at least Husband had something else to talk about besides the 4 minute rap that I had performed the night before.

Merchants great crafted cocktails & Free Popcorn. This was an oasis (for us) surrounded by Honkeytonks on Broadway. We went here twice we liked it so much.

Hotel Indigo Nashville

Katy K Designs At Ranch Dressings vintage & great new dresses from UK designers.

Union Station Hotel

Loveless Cafe Long wait but quick togo food. Biscuits are small so order more than you think. Somehow I missed the candied bacon popcorn..going to have to try that at home.

Virago This place was sooo good..Lobster shooters, Ninja Bacon & Spicy Tuna with watermelon poprocks..delish.

My Favorite "to-do" list.

I was reminded of this list today..written by my youngest.

I was texting a friend & she was telling me how hard it is to cope with all the negative things

that are happening to a family member.

And this is what we came up with to help.

Try and Meditate on the positives in your life.

Remember that this takes practice.

Get together with friends

Walk outside

Eat something Yummy.

Find the positive in your day and if you don't feel like there is any ~

FIND/ADD SOME Quick.

Putting all this into action takes deliberate work.

Everyday things happen that wear me down a little and I have to talk myself back up.

I remind myself that I am glad to be here & I want to see, touch, & feel all that life has to offer.

No one is going to Give me Happiness..I have to find it..see it and appreciate it.

And I am going to keep putting this on my to-do list until I get it right !!

It was a full October in Atlanta and the Tavern kept me pretty busy.
