Bad Bad Kitty

It was a full October in Atlanta and the Tavern kept me pretty busy.
Atlanta does Fall right by all her festivals and parades.

But I do have a little Sake Mom fun in the works.
Here is a sneak peek of the

Organic Slutty Brownies by Sake Mom

Organic Slutty Brownies
by Sake Mom
I saw these last night and dreamed about making them all night
so my dreams make my kids afternoon a reality of yumminess. Whaa??

You will need:
Parchment baking paper
Newman-O's
Butter
1 box of choc chip cookie mix
1 box of brownies
eggs
I always try to tweak these recipes and go ALL organic
or as close as I can get.
Preheat oven to 350*
Line an 8x8  glass pan with parchment paper
Prepare Choc chip mix as directed.
**I added 4 tbsp of warm water b/c they will cook longer than the box directions**
 Pour mix into pan
press to corners
The cookies help press it all the way to the corners
 Prepare Brownie Mix as directed
** I did add another egg after I took this pic**  3 eggs total
Pour Brownie Mix on top of Newman-O's
 Bake for 30-35 minutes
Test with a knife to see if the center is done. If the knife comes out clean, let the brownies rest before serving. If the knife comes out with batter still on it, allow the brownies to bake about 5 minutes more.
Cool for a bit and then lift out of pan
Peel paper away.

I was having oven issues..so I cooked a little too long.
But the VOTE is these are Super Yummy.
The kids ooooo'd and ahhhh'd , gave me their approval
and stopped giving me hard time for using Newman-O's  ;)

Best served warm with a little vanilla ice cream.
